Interested in becoming a member????
The Greenville Gun Club is a private shooting facility requiring annual membership.  Families are
encouraged to join and are only required to submit a single application.  To become a new member
at the Greenville Gun Club, there are three parts to apply:

Paperwork:
A membership form must be completed by the prospective member in its entirety.  The link shown
below (application2006.doc) is the current application form or hard copies are available at the
Clubhouse.  Associated with the application, is the GGC Range Safety Rules and Range Procedure
(RangeSafety.doc).  These Range Safety rules must be read by each applicant and your signature on
the application form acknowledges that you received and understood YOUR responsibilities.  



Fees:
A one-time initiation fee of $250.00 is required for all new members and any renewing members
where their membership had lapsed greater than
three  years since renewal.  

Standard membership fees (and renewals) for 2007 are $150.00 per year (prorated by month
joined).  If a new member joins in July of 2007, then the member should expect to pay $250.00
initiation fee plus $75.00 membership fee ($325.00).

NEW!! Assessment Change NEW!!!
The Board of Directors is making a procedural change for new members joining in the 4th quarter.  
Dues assessed will include the initiation fee ($250), prorated current year dues ($12.50 x #
remaining months), AND the next year's dues ($150).  For new members joining in October, that total
is $437.50; $425 in November; $412.50 in December.

This change was made to make sure you have no interruption of service for 2008 since you will miss
the renewal drive held during the 4th quarter.  The Secretary will advise all new members of the rule
change and will require all fees to be submitted prior to being approved.

Renewals are on the calendar year.  A $25.00 late fee is assessed for renewing members on
Jan 31st.

Class:
Each prospective member must attend a Safety Orientation class (schedule is shown below).  This
class will introduce you to Greenville Gun Club activities, shooting disciplines, a complete tour of the
facility and a walk-thru of safety rules and procedures.  This class is mandatory for at least one
family member on the application.  It is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that all family members attend this
class.  THIS CLASS CAN BE TAKEN BEFORE BOARD APPROVAL OR YOUR APPLICATION MAY BE
APPROVED PENDING SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF CLASS.  

Membership badges are sent to any adult who has also attended the Safety Orientation class.  If
your spouse would like his/her own badge, they must attend this class.  Minors are not issued
badges regardless of attendance.

Then What????
Send your completed application and fees to the PO Box address shown on the application form.  Do
not email the completed form to this site or expect to drop it off at the clubhouse - it must be mailed.  

Once the application and monies are received and evidence that the safety course has been taken
by you
(your name will be logged during class), your information will be submitted to the Board for review
and approval.  Board meetings occur each month on the first Tuesday starting with a '2' except
December.
Approval!!!
Once Board Approved, you can expect to receive a PACKET of material including
membership badge, gate combinations, and other information through the mail.

Its at this time that you are a MEMBER of the Greenville Gun Club and welcome
to shoot at your leisure.  ALL members MUST display their membership badge at
all times.
