The Greenville Gun Club is a private shooting facility
requiring annual membership.
(To participate in the
YOUTH programs, membership is NOT required.)

The Greenville Gun Club Youth Program offers firearm training to ANY
child in the community, ages
nine to eighteen.  This course is held on
Monday nights from 7:00 to 9:00pm and runs for ten weeks. The program
is now FREE!!!  

Since starting the program in spring of 2002, the program has taught
over
530 children. Our National Rifle Association certified instructors
teach the NRA rifle course. In addition children learn what to do if they
comes across an unsecured firearm; what to do if a student brings a
firearm to school, and many other topics to keep them safe around
firearms.

Upon their successful completion of this course they will earn a certificate
suitable for framing and a patch for their jacket at no cost.

The Greenville Gun Club Youth Program offers an advanced class as
well. This course, held on Tuesday nights starting at 6:30pm until dark,
offers to graduates the opportunity to continue the NRA rifle qualification
program.  There are nominal fees to pay for materials that will be
explained by the instructors.

And for Basic Rifle course graduates (13 and up), there are opportunities
to receive one on one instruction from NRA certified instructors in the
disciplines of Trap or Skeet shooting. Shotgun classes start at 6.30pm,
and will run until dusk, during Daylight Savings time. There are nominal
fees to pay for materials that will be explained by the instructors.
