The Gun Club will be closed on Saturday, March 20th for a Member Work Day. All members
are encouraged to participate. We will start at 8.00am and will continue until we are done;
at such point we'll open the ranges.
The list of items has been formed. There is alot to do at the club that, we the membership,
can maintain. Please mark this into your calendars.
Even for those who are not physically able to work outside, there will likely be some thing
we'll do inside one of the clubhouses. Stay tuned for more information.
List of equipment and items identified
2010 Renewals - 2010 renewal forms are overdue. Late fees are in effect per the letter sent to each
of those members; you must send $175 to renew and the renewal form.
Wed Afternoon Shotgun practice:
The Gun Club is continuing to look for a "trap boy" for Wednesday afternoons. If you know of
someone available who could work a shift from noon to 9pm on a regular basis who is dependable,
hardworking, a self-starter, and responsible, please contact the Trap or Skeet directors.
In the interim, between the hours of noon and approximately 4:30pm the post will be filled by one of
five volunteers registered with the Skeet and Trap directors and posted on the door of the clubhouse.
These individuals will rotate the responsibility as shown on the calendar in the club house. They are
available to sell ammunition, help with any coin box problems and provide general assistance as
needed. Please note, they are not there to load skeet or trap houses. However they will gladly
demonstrate the proper method for individuals who need assistance.
For those members NOT FAMILIAR with how to load a trap or skeet machine, please seek assistance
as to the proper method to approach each target house, releasing the arm of the machine, the
loading of the machine, and reset the machine. Non-members should not load the machines.
New Member Application Process
We are currently operating with a waiting list. If you know someone interested in joining the club, have
them send a letter with their name, address, email address to our mailing address. The list will
continue; those that got on the list in 2009 will get invitations to join in the next few weeks as the
current member renewal starts to wind down.
