5-Stand - 5-Stand will be closed for July and August. September is questionable and the web will be
updated when its expected to re-open. Please wish Bob good luck with his knee surgery.
Patriot Cup - Sept 16-18 - the club (all ranges) will be closed for this IDPA event. Club will reopen
on Sunday, Sept 19th with normal tournament events including a Skeet shoot and CPSL pistol
tournament. For details about this shoot, please contact Randy Ohlrogge.
Newsletters - A 2010 newsletter is being constructed and should be mailed by month-end June.
Please watch for this as important information will be conveyed about the schedule for the year, our
annual meeting, new features for the club, and other events being planned.
Background Checks - For those who apply from the July 2010 mailing, the club will no longer take
out of state CWPs...you must present a SC CWP or FBI background check to get past the
background requirement.
New Members - The club switched to channel individuals interested in membership to submitting
their name to a waiting list. We did this to pool the candidates and then to provide better service by
scheduling classes and interviews to support each mailing. There are no more mailings for 2010; the
next mailing will be in late Dec or early 2011.
Pistol Baffles - If you witness a member purposely shoot the pistol baffles, please turn their member
id, date, and what you witnessed into the Board of Directors so that we can pursue disciplinary action
and/or legal remedies for destruction of property.
Badges - All members must display their badges when on the grounds. Please make every effort to
display your badge...and ask others to see theirs.
2011 Renewals - To renew for 2011, each credentialed member will be required to re-certify by
taking the safety orientation class test. This test will be offered online starting in August; and then in
mid-Oct, we'll send out the renewal forms and the test will be provided on paper.
